For families considering a Cape Cod Sea Camps experience, a visit to camp is the very best way to see the beauty of our Campus on Cape Cod Bay.
Schedule a Tour
Contact the CCSC office to schedule a tour. Directors are on hand for visits most days with a little notice during the Spring and Fall. During the busy summer season, resident camp tours can be arranged with a Junior Counselor Tour Guide between 10:00am-12:00pm or 2:30pm -4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
During the summer season, day camp tours are best scheduled between 10:00am-11:00am, or 1:00pm-2:00pm.
New Camper Open Houses
If you are within traveling distance of camp, we encourage new campers to attend one of the New Camp Open Houses here at camp on the first Saturdays of April and May. These are great opportunities to learn more about the exciting adventure ahead. Visits on other days can also be arranged by calling in advance.
Resident Camp Parents Visiting Day
Our formal visiting day is set during the first half of the summer. Parents of new campers enjoy participating in some activities with their campers and meeting with the counselors. Veteran campers quite often sign-out for lunch with mom and dad but definitely want to return by dinner for Cookout and All Camp Dance. For Second Session campers, parents may visit after 10 days with weekends being the best time.
Day Camp Spirit Assembly
Friday afternoons are reserved for the Day Camp Spirit Assemblies at the Day Camp Poop Deck from 2:15pm to 3:00pm. Tours of camp after the assembly must be arranged beforehand but should be accompanied by a staff member.
While parents are encouraged to attend Visiting Day and may visit on other weekends, regular visits disrupt the natural flow of camp, especially for other campers. As a result, we discourage “popping-in” to visit your camper unless arranged with a director. Generally there are no visits during the first 10 days of a camper’s stay.
Friends of campers who visit camp must be accompanied by their parents at all times. CCSC campers must have permission to sign out of camp and may not stay overnight with anyone other than their parents.
Directors on Tour
Our camp directors also travel the country throughout the year to speak and meet with prospective campers.
