The focus of our nature program changes each summer based on the special background of the counselors. During low tide, campers benefit from flats exploration and maintain two salt water aquariums in the nature room. At high tide, the favorite activities include beach walks, upland exploration, turtle hunts on Berry’s Pond, snake hunts and nature crafts. At the Resident Camp, on the two lowest tides of the summer, campers are encouraged to watch the sunrise and join Dave on his famous Low Tide walks. Exploring our rich marine environment at camp is rare gift for both campers and staff.
