Archery is one of our most popular activities. Archery lessons at CCSC are led by National Archery Association certified instructors which allows campers to advance quickly through the camp’s archery awards. Cape Cod Sea Camps has two archery ranges with well-stocked sheds to ensure that campers have access to appropriate equipment during activity periods. Campers may also choose to participate in one or two archery tournaments held over the course of the summer.

Tennis has long been popular with campers and staff at both the overnight and day camps. Campers can receive instruction whether they are beginners or more advanced players from experienced players and coaches. Each activity period begins with warm-ups and stretching after which campers are divided into smaller groups based on ability for lessons. Camper-counselor tournaments are a highlight of the summer for many as are the unit tournaments held during the second session.   Campers also enjoy setting up the Pickle Ball nets for a fun change.   Ping Pong tables are adjacent to the Tennis Courts for indoor play on rainy days.

CCSC provides outstanding marksmanship instruction. Campers are instructed in 3-position Olympic Air Rifle marksmanship with a focus on personal discipline, which is required to achieve high scores. All campers learn shooting sport safety, positioning and proper shooting techniques at our BB Range under Civilian Marksmanship Trained Instructors. Once campers attain the required award level, they advance to the Air Rifle and Precision Air Rifle range. Our two ranges have 14 shooting positions at each range with modern Daisy BB guns, Sporter Air Rifles and Precision Air Rifles. Please note: there is a minimum age requirement to participate in our summer marksmanship program.

The focus of our nature program changes based on the interest of both campers and staff. During low tide, campers may explore the Brewster flats and collect items for our two salt water aquariums. At high tide, activities include beach walks, upland exploration, turtle hunts on Berry’s Pond, snake hunts and nature crafts. At the Resident Camp, on the two lowest tides of the summer, campers are encouraged to watch the sunrise and join Dave on his famous low tide walks. Exploring our rich marine environment at camp is rare gift for both campers and staff.

My daughter went every summer to CCSC for 4 years. She enjoyed CCSC immensely and we were satisfied with the variety of activities, the caring staff and supervision. I highly recommend CCSC!
