Nancy Garran and David Peterson met while counselors at camp and began their careers as camping professionals in 1978 soon after their marriage at the Monomoy Chapel.  They are the parents of two boys who both attended CCSC as campers and are now on staff themselves.  Both Nancy and Dave are committed to the philosophy that "camping can make a difference in a child's life".  Nancy who has a B.S. in nursing from Skidmore College oversees the management of the overnight and day programs as the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Sea Camps.  David, having graduated from Southern Connecticut State College with a B.S. in teaching and physical education, works closely with Sherry Mernick in directing the overnight residential programs.  Both Nancy and David are involved in the American Camp Association at the regional and national levels as well as being active in their local community.  Camping is a full time career for Nancy & Dave along with being parents.

Sherry's camp career began as a CCSC counselor during her Skidmore College years.  After completing her Masters in Education at Northeastern University, Sherry moved to Cape Cod in 1976 to start full time employment at CCSC.  As a full time camping professional, the management and direction of Cape Cod Sea Camps is her sole career.  Sherry is also an active participant in the American Camp Association.

Stephen serves as one of the resident camp directors and also oversees the many aspects of our teen leadership and staff training programs.  He is a regular contributor to Camping Magazine and serves on the advisory panel of Camp, the American Camp Association's parent publication.  In addition to his role in camping, Stephen serves as chairman and chief executive officer of SADD, Inc. (Students Against Destructive Decisions), adjunct professor of psychology at Mount Ida College, senior consultant at ML Strategies, LLC, and principal of Summit Communications Management Corporation.  Stephen writes and lectures widely on the subject of youth development and decision-making and was recently recognized by the White House as a national leader in drug and alcohol education and prevention.  His book, Reality Gap, was published in August, 2008 as a lead title by Sterling Publishing Company/Union Square Press.  More information about Stephen's work with youth and families can be found at stephengraywallace.com.

Rick Moyer is currently in his 43nd camping season with the Cape Cod Sea Camps.  Rick is retired from the Wayland Public school system where he was the Athletic Director for many years.   Rick received a masters in Education from Springfield College.

Andrew started at Cape Cod Sea Camps as a camper in the resident program and has expanded his role and responsibilities over the last 29 years. He attended Rice University, and the University of Minnesota before working at Cape Cod Sea Camps full time. He has organized an after school program in Dallas, TX and is involved in the American Camp Association as an ACA Standards Visitor visiting camps throughout New England promoting the accreditation program. He met his wife Christin while both were working at CCSC.
